Event Overview

Learn the foundational skills of knitting using reclaimed materials. In this class, participants will learn how to use knitting needles by practicing with Perennial’s handmade wooden needles. Participants will be introduced to basic knitting skills like the knit stitch, casting on, and binding off.


Class fee includes fabric, and handmade knitting needles will be available for purchase. You are welcome to bring in your own cotton bedsheets, t-shirts, or fabric scraps.


Materials Saved from the Landfill: T-shirts, Bed Sheets, Vintage Yarn
