Event Overview

Does your dog pull and tug on his leash? Are you constantly trying to pull your dog back onto the sidewalk or keep up with him as he rushes out in front of you? Join our Polite Walkers class and get some tips and training on loose leash walking!

Though we love our dogs, most of them don't naturally come with many of the house manners that are necessary in our modern lives. Leash walking is a common problem in many dog households, and it can be stressful to both you and your dog. In this class, you'll learn how to train your dog to walk by your side without force or intimidation.

This hands on workshop will teach you and your pup how to enjoy a walk together without pulling or dragging. All breeds and all ages are welcome, with the exception of reactive dogs. One dog per person.

Meeting Place: We will be meeting in front of the Grand Basin on Lagoon Drive. (The fountain below Art Hill)
