Event Overview

The farmers markets and your backyard trees are awash in a sea of fuzz. Overwhelmed by the abundance, but know you'll miss that sunny sweetness once winter takes hold? With some basic cooking skills this class will help you stretch the peach harvest through the months with a variety of food preservation methods. We'll make:

Peach Jam
Peel and Pit Jelly
Peach Pie Filling (frozen and canned)
Frozen Peach Handpies
Bellini Cocktail Syrup

We'll snack on some samples while we cover the safest, tastiest ways to preserve your harvest.
