Event Overview

Are you swimming in squash and zucchini? Have you eaten so much grilled zucchini that you're feeling a little green?This round of squash and zucchini preservation builds on pickling and freezing ideas, with fermentation and sugar preservation techniques. We'll make:

Squash Relish
Bread and Butter Squash Pickles
Chocolate Squash Cake - fresh and frozen
Squash Fritters - fresh and frozen
Squash Butter

We'll cover everything you need to know and sample some of these dishes.

What to Bring

Bring locally-grown squash and zucchini to trade for Subterranean Homemade Foods products.
