Event Overview
Join us on Sunday, December 6th for an accessible Crafternoon workshop to create a unique printed silk necktie. With the help of instructor Nicole Ottwell, create handmade fashions you can wear and express your unique story. Begin with a blank silk necktie and add color and pattern with textile paint and a variety of printing methods. Quick dry with heat and take home a one-of-a-kind silk necktie to keep or give as a gift.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Nicole Ottwell has an MFA in Fibers from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and a BFA from SIUE. She exhibits her fiber work regionally and currently teaches fibers at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. Other classes she teaches at Craft Alliance include Nuno Felted Scarves and Japanese Shibori Silk.
