Every home needs a wooden step stool to help get to those out-of-reach places. Utilizing basic hand and power tools, the class will execute a simple stool design. The class will introduce participants to basic woodworking tools that can be applied to multiple woodworking projects including; pull saws, miter saws and boxes, power drills, and hammer and nails. Participants will also use shaping tools such as files, chisels, and planes to create a step stool from reclaimed wood. After this class, you’ll be able to give yourself that extra lift! With any woodworking project, it takes time to become proficient, but this is a great project to help you dive into multiple planning and building skills.
