I Can’t: Organize My Home

"I Can't: Organize My Home" is part of Mac & Cheese Productions' I Can't series, where adults state they're unable to do something, they try it with a bunch of other adults who also "can't," and everyone proves themselves wrong and not only does the thing, but enjoys it and says, "That wasn't so bad. In fact, kinda fun. Good for me! What's next?!" As at camp, topics and structure are varied but the "be yourself amongst others being themselves, witness the magic that happens when you try with others trying" vibe is pervasive.
For this edition, Mac & Cheese is partnering with Chicago’s first certified KonMari Tidying Consultant, Kristyn Ivey of For the Love of Tidy. Kristyn will share home organization tips that focus on what you keep (does it “spark joy?”), rather than what or how much you discard. Learn about Marie Kondo’s revolutionary Japanese decluttering method made popular by Netflix’s “Tidying Up” series.
This workshop will help you lead with gratitude and become an extension of a home that you honor and respect. It includes an overview of KonMari fundamentals and practical decluttering tips that fall under five signature KonMari categories: Clothing, Books, Paper, Miscellaneous items, and Sentimental items. Enjoy a live demonstration of the signature KonMari Folding technique. We'll also discuss common myths and missteps as we address how to overcome your unique clutter challenges and barriers to success and true abundance.
You’ll leave with —
*BONUS RAFFLE* In addition to the take-aways detailed above, I Can’t attendees will have a chance to win one of three hand selected KonMari-themed prizes.
Feel free to byo-drinks & snacks and enjoy during the workshop.

This workshop was great! Kristyn and Saya were awesome. I learned a lot on approaching home organization and have a better understanding as to why my strategies previously didn't work. Kristyn was passionate and very knowledgeable. The workshop was held in a comfortable setting that fostered great interaction and dialogue.
