Event Overview

This course is designed for people who have had little to no experience with American Sign Language. We will start with the basics so you will be able to communicate with Deaf people out in the community, or even to use a silent language to communicate with a friend at a time that you can't speak!

This course with give you a taste of what it's like to be involved in the Deaf community. We will use nearly no spoken English. Almost the entire course will be conducted in ASL to help you understand what it's like to communicate in your new language.

In this class you will learn your ABCs, numbers 1-10, family vocabulary, and feelings vocabulary. We will also have time to learn what YOU want to learn! This will help make the class custom to what you want, and what will benefit you the most.
