Event Overview
New writers AND seasoned writers - if you're ready to feel more creative and start getting words on the page, this is the workshop for you. This isn't a lecture on how to write - it's a fun morning of actual writing. We'll meet on Venice beach where inspiration surrounds and use a series of prompts to open your writing channels and get the words to flow.
Bring a towel or beach chair to sit on, a notebook, and your favorite pen. At the end of the session, your writing hand will be exhausted, your imagination limber, and you’ll have lots of material to take home for further exploration.
**Please note--we'll be meeting on the sand right next to Lifeguard Stand 26, which is a little bit north of the Venice pier. There's street parking nearby for free (try to park as close to 27th St. and Pacific as possible) or you can park in the pay lot for the pier at the end of Washington Blvd.
