Event Overview
Join Stone Creek Coffee's buyer, Steve Hawthorne for an evening of coffee and education! We will discuss the origins of coffee and it's journey from crop to cup. You will get some basic background on coffee roasting and learn how to brew the perfect cup of coffee. Finally, we will learn how to taste and describe coffee like a professional.
The class will take place in the Stone Creek Coffee Factory where you will be able to see first hand how coffee goes from a raw, green bean to the hot beverage that you enjoy every morning.

Steve is the Vice President and Green Coffee Buyer for Stone Creek Coffee Roasters in Milwaukee, WI. After experiencing several facets of the coffee industry over 12 years, he landed in the green coffee sourcing world where he works to find high quality coffees and build sustainable relationships with growers around the world. Steve is a licensed coffee quality grader...which is a fancy way of saying that he's a professional coffee taster!
