Congratulations on your engagement! You are just about to begin one of the most exciting times of your life—planning your wedding!! Here’s your opportunity to learn what to do, how to do it and even why you want to do specific tasks in your wedding preparation.
This class is designed for people who are planning a wedding. “How to Plan Your Wedding” will focus on wedding inspiration, how to choose and obtain the best venues and vendors for your event, and how to plan within a budget. At the end of the class, you will depart with a start on your personal inspiration board/wedding blueprint.
In this class, we will lay the groundwork so you can proceed with planning your wedding without all of the common misunderstandings and potential pitfalls. You’ll know the steps, how to make the decisions wisely and why you should follow specific guidelines. And, trust me you’ll be glad you started your wedding planning in a classroom.

Dorothy Owsley is professional bridal consultant and event planner in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. She owns Blush Wedding and Event Planning LLC and Bells & Whistles, a wedding accessory boutique in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She has been in the wedding and event planning business for eight years. Dorothy is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. As a bridal consultant she has conducted workshops and seminars for others in the field of bridal planning.. Before beginning this career, she was a public school teacher for 36 years. Dorothy enjoys teaching.
