Event Overview
Fusing two pieces of metal together is mecca for DIY furniture builders, hobbyists and pyromaniacs alike. Welding is a skill that requires patience, funny-looking goggles and expensive equipment galore.
In this class, Dabblers will demystify the basics of welding in a three-hour hands on class. First you'll learn the basics of safety, equipment and workspace setup then you'll have a chance to try your hand at welding under the expert eye of an experienced team of welders.
Join us for a fun sparks-flying evening and find out if you want to go further in learning welding - anything from sculpture to furniture to fixing your car.

Jeremy is the owner and co-founder of Flux Design in Milwaukee - a custom design / build firm that provides contemporary solutions in metal, plastic, wood and glass for commercial and residential clients. He graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and is currently shooting a reality series on residential design/build. Beyond work, he's a sucker for his two kids, Star Wars and mid-summer canoe trips.
