What you'll learn in this ONLINE candle making class:
Learn the power and skills to create a healthy, fragrant, natural candle you can feel really good about burning in your home.
First part of the class is about theory (candle making craft, ingredients, recipe, suppliers, rules, do’s and don’t, questions) and the second part will be practice.
Students will be shown:
- How to use tools and equipment
- How to melt/pour the wax and fragrances to make the candles
- How to set up wicks and labels
This course could interest THREE types of students:
- The ones who already have supplies and equipment but lack the knowledge. They will be able to make their candle during class as well
- The ones who don’t have supplies but would like them. The Instructor will provide a link after students register where they can buy a “candle making kit” with the basic tools and ingredients they will need to make the 2 candles they'll be shown in class
- The ones that would love to learn and watch but not make. They can also purchase the kit later and practice whenever they want.
After people register through, we will send them an email with a Zoomlink where they will be able to access the class, and a link to purchase the candle making kit.
Finally, just before the course starts, the instructor will send them by email a digital booklet with training materials they will be going over during class (theory, recipe, suppliers list etc)

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
I grew up in the south of France, surrounded by the lavender fields of Provence, alongside flourishing sunflowers and olive trees. I developed a passion for the fragrances of nature as a child and started making and collecting my own perfume as a hobby. My passion has evolved into a love for candles and the cozy, healing ambiance they create in your home by diffusing these beautiful scents which evoke comforting memories of childhood.
Being an avid candle collector myself, I began to notice that some fragrances would give me headaches or trigger allergies. This is when I dug deeper and did my own research on what could be causing these reactions. What I discovered was that my favorite candle brands actually use synthetic chemicals to imitate fragrances and to reduce their costs. These chemicals, as it turns out, are very bad for our health and the environment, not so healing and cozy after all! This is where I come in….
I have since made it my mission to learn how to make my own scented candles by utilizing the best quality and naturally sourced ingredients available. I have created my own unique recipe that uses vegetal waxes such as soy & coconut and pure essential oils in place of chemical substitutes.
My objective is to teach you what I have learned for myself, and giving you the power and skills to create a healthy, fragrant, 100% natural candle you can feel really good about burning in your home.
