Event Overview
Are you a homebrewer who would like to get some immediate feedback on your latest beer? How about if that feedback comes from a Certified Beer Judge and professional beer evaluator?
Participants in this class will not only have their brew critiqued face-to-face, but they will also receive an official score sheet in return.
Feedback will include defect identification and adherence to beer style. Pointers on how to improve your beer would be offered as well as competition recommendations.
This class is led by Marty Nachel, author of “Beer for Dummies” and “Homebrewing for Dummies.” Nachel has been a member of the Beer Judge Certification Program since 1986 and he judges beer professionally at commercial competitions such as World Beer Championships, Sam Adams LongShot Finals, Festival of Barrel Aged Beers and Great American Beer Festival.
