Event Overview

Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes - Mixed Media Art Camp

Ages 9 - 13

Instructor: Kathy Hirsh

Many artists use the human face and figure as a means of expression. Working with observation and imagination, faces and figures will be our subjects for the week. Campers will be working with a different “art -ism” every day: Surrealism, Fauvism, Art Nouveau, Pop Art and Cubism. We will incorporate self portraits, play with bent wire sculpture, do a block sculpture and every day do life drawing, while experimenting with a variety of media. Camp fee includes all art materials.

Friday August 3, 9:00am - Noon 

 

Join us on Friday August 3 at 11:30am for a showcase of art work made during summer art camps.
