Event Overview
If you're trying to launch a small food business, or if you already have a business and are trying to expand, this workshop is for you!
It's almost impossible to get a loan in the food industry. Crowdfunding remains a viable way to get your business funded without jumping through all the hoops of conventional loans or suffering from the high-interest rates of credit cards.
But how the heck do you crowdfund? In this hands-on workshop, we'll dig into the process, and you'll leave with a tangible plan for how to get started.
As your instructor I bring with me 4 years working as a Campaign Strategist at Indiegogo, managing over 6MM in funds + 10 years working in the food industry. I'm passionate about using my crowdfunding knowledge to help food businesses get off the ground!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Hi! After many years working in every aspect of the food industry imaginable, I took a wild an unexpected turn towards crowdfunding. I spent 4 years at Indiegogo, becoming an expert in crowdfunding strategy, managing well over 6MM in my time there. But food is my passion, and I know from personal experience how hard it is to raise money for food and beverage related projects. I've become determined to apply the expertise I developed at Indiegogo to help food entrepreneurs get their businesses off the ground.
