Event Overview
Put togther your own air plant enclosure, while supporting a local community center for Love your Park Week!
The Starr Garden Rec center and playground will be hosting this one off open workshop between the hours of 11am and 2pm. Show up anytime after 11 and before 1:30 to collect all your materials and design your air plant terrarium with the help of workshop leader Cassie Jones.
Each ticket includes
-one glass wall hanging terrarium
-one hook with hardware to hand your terrarium
-one simple to care for air plant
-simple air plant care instructions
-substrate to fill your terrarium
-rocks, driftwood, and or terrarium figurines spice up your terrarium!
Also happening at the park will be a FREE plant swap! In attendence will be local plant expert and enthusiast Nakia Maples or 'The Plant Guy' to answer any questions or just talk about plants.
The money collected for this event will go towards materials used, funding the Starr Garden, as well as future events run for the South Silly Craft Coven.

Hi-o! My name is Cassie and I'm sure that you should be excited to take a class with me. I have a local craft club and have taught many beginner makers the ins and outs of a whole bunch of different topics. My official training is in fiber arts and accessory design from the Savannah college of Art and Design and I have been broadening my skills and experiences since graduating in 2010. Come hang out for a bit and check out what I've got to share with yous.
