Join in on the "FRIDAY NIGHT BAKING BASH"! This class will walk you through the step-by-step techniques for making these classic cookies and fillings from an award-winning Pastry Chef and the recent WINNER of the Food Network show, Bakers vs. Fakers! By the end of class, you will see just how easy it is to make these delicate French jewels. If you want to WOW your family & friends give them a gift of homemade French Macarons!


You will learn the art of how to fold a meringue into perfection and become comfortable with holding a piping bag to not only make your French Macarons, but you will gain the confidence to use your new skill in your future dessert masterpieces! Learning how to make Swiss Buttercream is a foundational frosting that should be in every baker's recipe file for cakes and cookies. Chocolate Ganache has many roles in French Pastry, it can be used to fill French Macarons, glaze a cake or turn it into truffles. You will learn the tricks of the trade from a professional pastry chef who will guide you to success.

With over 25 years of culinary experience, Chef Patsy brings to her classes her extensive experience and unbridled passion for cooking. Her mission is to inspire all ages and skill levels by sharing her toolbox of knowledge and techniques. This is her way of giving back to the community. Nothing gives her more joy than to boost her student’s confidence in their cooking skills and instill a newfound passion for food.

You may have experience Chef Patsy’s decades of experience and talent at several prominent restaurants, hotels, caterers and cooking schools in San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Chicago and Florida as an Executive Chef, Pastry Chef, Cooking Instructor, Caterer and Chef Talent for TV, special events and cruise ships such as; Sur La Table, Top of the Market/Fish Market, Ranch Valencia Resort, Pamplemousse Grill, Pacifica Del Mar, The Santa Barbara Biltmore, SITK -Someone’s in the Kitchen, PGA TOUR, Parties That Cook, Holland America Cruise Line, Del Mar Fair and her own San Diego businesses; Girlfriends Baking Company and Morning Glory Café & Bakery.

Chef Patsyb is her latest San Diego venture providing private catering events and teaching her originally designed hands-on cooking classes at local venues, such as; Freshly Prepped in Bonita in the South Bay Area of San Diego. Chef Patsyb also takes her classes to a client's home or will teach live interactive video-chat style cooking classes from Chef Patsyb’s kitchen to YOURS
