Event Overview
The Downtown Delilahs feature a unique, modern and classy style of burlesque inspired choreography in Burlesque BootyCamp. The class welcomes all levels of experience, and ensures everybody leaves feeling like a professional after partaking in a fun and sexy workout in the Carnival Bar Theater. Dances taught are altered to each participant's level of experience (ranging from no experience to any level of dance experience) to ensure that everyone can benefit from the sexy workout! We encourage people of all ages, shapes, and sizes to sign up. Dances learned will leave you equal parts inspired and accomplished as you perform on the same stage as The Downtown Delilahs. Fans of the troupe have learned to expect the unexpected in terms of musical selection, and class participants should do the same. No genre is safe as the Delilahs attack every decade's finest scores with fierce choreography. The crossroads of seduction and fitness awaits at Burlesque BootyCamp with The Downtown Delilahs.

I am a student at SCAD majoring in Performing Arts with a minor in Dance. I have been dancing my entire life, and for the past 2 years I have been Directing and Choreographing a Burlesque inspired cabaret show at The House of Mata Hari. My dance minor at SCAD has allowed me to study the specific art form of the burlesque and cabaret style of dance. The knowledge I have gained from my experience choreographing for the Delilahs ensures that I am able to teach people with little to no experience in dance, as well as the very experienced dancers.
