Bill Christman has immersed himself in corndog lore for the last 30 years. For the last 4,000 years corndogs have played a major role in civilization. Equaled only by the technology of plumbing. These theories intersect with the lost tribes of Israel, the Middle Eastern origins of Nougat, and the age of aquarius.
In this class you will learn about the true history of the Corn Dog and it's many claims to inventorship. For one hour you will have the opportunity to be among the life's work of an American Artist and Sign Painter who has dedicated much of his career to developing art about one of America's greatest assets, the Corn Dog.
All class members will receive 4 issues of The Corn Dog Watchdog Advocate Gazette, a corn dog, mustard, and one beer. If you would like to BYOB you are welcome to do that as well. Refrigerator space will be provided, but space is limited.

Saint Louis artist, sign painter and smart alec, Bill Christman has been creating Americana Folk Art for over 30 years. He is the proprietor of neighborhood icon, Joe's Cafe, in the Skinker DeBaliviere Neighborhood since 1980. In 1997 Bill opened The Mirth Mystery and Mayhem on the 3rd floor of the City Museum which toted an exhibit to the Corn Dog for over 15 years.
The Smithsonian Museum of American History in Washington DC invited Bill to display an exhibit titled "The Dark Side of The Corn Dog". He has also exhibited at the Galway Arts Festival in Ireland. Bill's eclectic sense of design lends a truly authentic Americana ambience to everything he touches.
He aspires to an art of gentile anarchy.
