Arts & DIY
Try your hand at blending your own custom scent and making it into a one-of-a-kind, 16 oz container soy candle. Your candle will have a burn time of about 90 hours, and be pretty enough to give away as a gift or keep for yourself. Please note that you won't be able to take your candle home that evening as it has to cool overnight. It can be picked up the following business day.

Kate Bethel started off making bath/body products and candles as a hobby back in 2005. By 2007, she had opened a small brick and mortar shop called Maven in downtown Maplewood, making all of her creations in the back of the store. Today, Maven sells handmade products both retail and wholesale all over the country.
I was able to make a candle using the scents that I like from the selections available, which were plentiful. I was also able to get feedback and suggestions from the teacher about scent ratios and the curing process.
