Event Overview
While we all would love to have a new bottle for every dish we serve at home, that's just not realistic, now is it?
Have no fear - Cork Dorks with Forks to the rescue!
We are trained culinary professionals and sommeliers and will show you how to prepare a three course meal where all dishes pair perfectly with the same bottle of wine! We will also taste different styles of the same wine before dinner is served to help showcase the subtleties, nuaces and differences between wines of the same name but different producer, region, or vintage.
Class taught by STLwinegirl Angela Ortmann, Certified Sommelier Matthew Dulle, and Culinary Professional Christina Bollinger.

For two decades, STLwinegirl Angela Ortmann has been cultivating her passion for all things food and drink. Through every facet of the hospitality industry, she has procured and honed her professional service skills while continuing to grow from every opportunity. Ortmann's training and experience are rooted in both front- and back-of-the-house positions in the top restaurants and luxury hotels of San Francisco, New York, and Saint Louis, and through her pursuit of continual education at wineries, breweries, organic farms, and creameries around the country.
Building from her outgoing personality and entrepreneurial spirit, Angela combined her energetic virtuosity, imaginative ingenuity, and penchant for writing to create and manage a thriving brand - STLwinegirl - dedicated to furthering others’ love affair with the edible, drinkable that world she calls home.
She also is the co-founder of Cork Dorks with Forks, an education and entertainment avenue for lovers of food, drink and hospitality. Through online articles, videos, and events, CDWF strives to further others experience and knowledge.
