Event Overview
A two and a half hour workshop of printing using Gelli Arts Printing Plate. It is new non toxic printing technique without utilizing a press. The Gelli plate looks and feels like gelatin, but it is durable, perfect for mono printing, and FUN to use. We will print gift tags, stickers, wrapping paper and Valentine Cards using stencils rolling layers of acrylic paint to create attractive surfaces and create one of a kind pieces.
Age group 16+, no special skills, just love and imagination needed.
Warning: Gelli printing is so much fun you may fall in love with it!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
I earned a painting diploma from the Academia di Belle Art in Florence, Italy where I learned many traditional techniques like fresco and gold leafing. I also have an MFA in Printmaking from Washington University. I have taught art classes at Craft Alliance, SLAM, Laumeir Sculpture Park, and I gave workshops in Greece, Italy, France and Switzerland as an artist in residence.
