Event Overview

Calling all dads who don't know how to braid...yet! This class is for you and your little princess! Join me and other daddy/daughter duos as I show you how to braid your daughter's hair to perfection!

Here's how it works:
Dads can bring any number of daughters they wish to enter in the competition. You'll get one-on-one time with our Top Rated Teacher Meagan Impellizzeri to show you how to do easy pony-tails, buns and of course, braids. Near the end of the class there will be a competition where the dad who made the Best Braid gets a free 6-Pack of beer, a Dabble t-shirt for dad and daughter, and bragging rights. Your daughter also gets a free one-on-one session with me in the future for either traditional makeup application, hair design, or special effects makeup.

Come out and enjoy an afternoon of laughter and fun with your daughter! We can't wait to see you there!

This would make a great gift for dad on Father's Day with his little one!

**Note** Though the class is held at Tamm Ave Grill, Turtle Park is just down the street. After the class, take your little one for a play date to show off those beautiful braids!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Hello! My name is Meagan Impellizzeri and I am a working visual artist and makeup artist. My primary work area is here in St. Louis city and the surrounding Missouri and Illinois areas. However, because I grew up in New York and New Jersey, and that is where I began my business, I often have clients in the Tri-State area and beyond (you name the place and I’ll travel there! ). Since I was a child, I have always been fascinated with creative pursuits, the visual arts, and eventually the professional makeup industry. At an early age I recognized how a polished nail or a glossy lip made the women around me feel confident and beautiful. I loved to watch and learn from my mother who was a makeup guru and also worked in the cosmetics industry. I was fascinated by the beauty and creative potential of makeup as its own artistic media just just like painting or sculpture . And now, as a professional and visual artist, I view the face as a unique canvas. Each face possessing its own special beauty potential to be brought out and fulfilled by a trained eye. I use my creative skills and vision to help bring out the best in people, while keeping an emphasis on their own natural beauty.

I will work with you and your party help you achieve the perfect look for any occasion, using makeup to enhance your natural features and craft a beautiful look that maintains it’s own distinct character. I love what I do, and I am so grateful and fortunate to have the opportunity to work as an artist in both makeup and beyond for a living .

I am available for commercial and editorial shoots along as well as weddings or any other special event. Please feel free browse around and definitely reach out to me if you’d like to learn more about my services offered or would like to collaborate.

Warm regards,

Meagan

This was the first time we have done anything like this before. My daughter and I had a blast!!! So glad someone thought of this because I would never have. Thanks, Dabble! So cool and what a great memory we will have. And I learned a thing or two about helping out with my daughter's hair.

I am recently divorced father of a 5 year old princess with very thin hair. I realized there were certain things I never learned how to do like braiding or even combing my daughters hair. I saw this class on a segment of a local morning show and thought it was perfect. It was a chance to learn something and spend time with my daughte . I could not have asked for a better experience. The class was organized and taught well, both the instructor and her model walked around and helped/coached me through the learning process and the other dad's all wanted to be there so we were able to joke while we learned.

I hope to take this class again as my daughter's hair thickens.
