You've grown tired of cardboard box pasta and you want to graduate to something a little more...artisan. You love pasta, but want to know how to make it in your own home, controlling your own ingredients, making it fresher and more flavorful.
This special class will be taught by Chef Bob Zugmaier at Sidney Street Cafe.
Using pasture-raised eggs and high quality flour, we are going to create a pasta that will impress even the toughest of Italian grandmas! You will learn how to create basic pasta dough, how to roll it, and cut it into various shapes and types.
This is a demo style class with the chance to learn and taste all things homemade pasta! Bring your friends, bring your family - this is an event not to be missed!

Sidney Street Cafe is located in a century-old storefront building in St. Louis’s historic Benton Park neighborhood. Run by Chef/Owner Kevin Nashan along with his wife Mina and his brother Chris, the restaurant is proud to be a neighborhood staple while also serving as a special destination for diners from all over the world. The New American cuisine is inspired by a melting pot of influences including Kevin’s Spanish heritage, the New Mexican flavors of his childhood in Santa Fe, his love for Midwest and Southern ingredients, and his classic French training. The casually elegant dining room is highlighted by exposed brick walls, rich hardwood floors, and an antique bar where guests can enjoy cocktails, wine, and the restaurant’s complete dining experience.
It was an excellent class, learned so much more then I thought I was going to. Chef Bob made it so easy and gave so many tips. I definitely can make my own pasta now!

Such a fun class! Chef Bob was a great teacher, and had a very relaxed and fun approach to the course. It was the perfect combination of seeing how it is done first by Bob, and then getting to try it on your own. Really liked that we got to see the whole process from start to finish.

Fun class! The instructor will make the dough for you and then the class makes the different pasta types. You could tell the instructor really loves his job!

I had a great time at this class and it was the perfect date night for my husband and I. The setting was intimate with the restaurant closed so we could easily learn in a quiet environment. The pasta making process was so fun and interactive. We were also able to try some flavorful ravioli the chef had made. Would absolutely recommend!

This was such a great hands-on class. You get to make pasta AND you get to eat too! I would definitely recommend this class to my friends.

I had a great time at this class. The teacher was very informative and was able to answer all questions well. Also, the pasta we made was great!

What a good class. Have made pasta a number of times but still learned a lot and even managed to replicate it the following day. To top of the experience the chef made lots of different pasta dishes at the end of the night which we all got to try. Excellent experience.
