Event Overview
We will make a hand made leather journal cover for a standard sized composition brand notebook that will be made from vegetable tanned leather with a natural finish.
In this class you will:
- Measure and final cut and fit the journal cover
- Glue leather together
- Some minimal stampng (Initials and images)
- Hand dap and solder custom US penny button closure (Need to know your birth year for custom button)
- Finish and burnish the edges
- Hand saddle stich the cover
- Hang out with me and my Lovely teaching partner Arabella Tatterhsall @arabella232323 a critically aclaimed local metal and fabric artist in her brand new beautiful clean and well lit Longmont studio
- Have a blast and leave with a great present for you or a loved one
- Leave with a new skillset and a sense of fulfillment

What's Provided
I will bring everything you need for the class. We will have water and pretzels for light snacks.

I have been doing my own work on leather and tools for most of my life and am looking forward to sharing my unique humor, adventures and skillset with fun people looking to get out and BE PRESENT with more fun people.
I have been on tour for much of my life with major country music acts and have left that world to settle down here in the Boulder area.
