Event Overview

2nd date will be up to student to schedule a time of their convenience.

If you have not signed up for Leatherwork 101 this is strongly encouraged, but not required.

In this class students have the opportunity to hang out with other cool people, drink a beer or two, and make something that is not only functional, but looks great. This class will give you the chance to make something you can use everyday out of leather - a tablet case, a case for your laptop or a clutch.

There will be plenty of leather - so everyone will have plenty of options and opportunity to practice.

Whether you've done leather work before or are a newbie, we'll dive in head first and it will be a ton of fun. This class will inspire you with all the possibilities of leather work; shoe making, sandal making, saddles and more. The possibilities are literally endless!

All materials, hardware and use of tools are included in the tuition. Bring a friend, bring a date, bring your granny with you. This is going to be a casual atmosphere.

If you'd like to bring a beer or two or have a glass of wine to drink while we are working, this is a BYOB affair.

A jack of all trades hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, Will has been working with leather for the last five years and has shown little to no signs of slowing down any time soon. His practical but ornate leather work stems from a desire to create beautiful and functional items. Be sure and ask him to show you some of his amazing items. He surely will. From bags, purses, cases, clutches, wallets, and leather tapestries Will does it all.

I tend to do things a little differently, and Will was both helpful and encouraging. He worked with me to get my design, though a little unconventional, hammered out. Very fun class to take!

This is a fun class! Will is a great teacher and knowledgable and he steps you through everything you need to know to get your first leather project complete. He takes time with every student :-) and is very good about ensuring that you have your completed product to take home and show off to your friends!
The leather trades loft building is also very cool and I would definitely take another class!
