Event Overview

Join me for this creative art workshop that combines painting mandalas and mindfulness exercises. During the workshop, each participant will get to create a beautiful 12-inch circular mandala on a canvas panel using a unique painted dot technique.


Mandalas, meaning "circles" in Sanskrit, are sacred symbols that are traditionally used for meditation and mindfulness. In some Buddhist practices, mandalas are created out of colored sand while paying attention to thoughts, body, breath, and emotions.


In this workshop, we will focus on staying in the moment while using our creative energies to create our mandalas dot by dot. We will start the day with a mindfulness exercise and brief chair yoga experience.


Painting techniques will be demonstrated and many examples will be offered for participants. No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. Bring a friend and enjoy this fun and focused mandala-making-morning with us.
