Event Overview
This class is focused on introductory hula hoop skills. Students will learn basic hula hoop tricks, techniques to execute them and hula hoop terminology. The class is broken down into three sections; introduction and warm up, practice of on body hooping, and practice of off body hooping. This class is beneficial for all ages interested in learning the art of hula hoop and to those who have already been introduced. By the end of class students will have a basic understanding of hula hoop flow and be able to execute tricks including: walk the dog, weave, flloats, escalators, and a variety jump throughs.

Sarah and Erin are avid participants in the hula hoop and flow arts community eager to share hoop knowledge with others. They have experience teaching hula hoop at elementary schools in North St.Louis and at Laupahoehoe charter school on the big island. They plan on teaching and performing for life.
