MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Luciano is a fresh off the boat Italian with over 20 years of industry experience currently living in The Fox Park neighborhood in Saint Louis City.

Growing up in the Langhe district in a small town in Piemonte, Italy, Luciano left home to follow his passion as a waiter and sommelier throughout Europe. As the Director of Trussardi Alla Scala Ristorante, in Milano, he received two Michelin Stars in two years.

Moving back home in late 2009, he joined Domenico Clerico, top Barolo producer, as his right-hand man. Over the next four years, Luciano traveled around the world as Brand Ambassador, but when at home, he concentrated on the land, winemaking, and daily care of the cellar. As his passion grew, he started his own winery, Raineri. http://www.rainerivini.com/vini/?lang=en
