Ashley is such a great teacher. I loved the class and was pleasantly surprised at the block I was able to produce--all due to Ashley's guidance.

We booked a party for our dental office to make our own stamps wrapping paper. The process was easy and the class was fantastic! We had a wonderful time and loved working with Ashley! We will definitely do this again sometime!

This class was really cool! Carving the rubber stamp was easier than I expected and we got a lot of practice with it in the class. The teacher, Ashley, was really cool and explained everything really well and had a great sense of humor. I definitely recommend!

Aside from talented, Ashley is a warm, patient, and passionate instructor. She guides students through a basic overview of materials and tools and allows them the space to explore and create on their own. Well worth it. I'd definitely take another class.

I had a great time at Blocks + Brews! Ashley made the whole process of block printing simple and accessible for everyone in the class. She made sure everyone got individual help and went home with prints that they were happy with. I would recommend this class for anyone who wants to try block printing or just wants to relax and have a fun night of making art.

Awesome class! Ashley was very prepared and experienced. She gave us just the right amount of demonstration and instruction and turned us loose--gave lots of positive encouragement. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

What a wonderful experience! Ashley gave us the basics we needed to get started, and then she offered pointers and lots encouragement as we worked on our block. I don't consider myself an artsy person, but I made something I was really happy with. Thanks for a wonderful class!

I really enjoyed this class. I've never considered myself a very artistic person, but with Ashley's guidance, I was able to create something cool, creative and that I was really proud of. My friend and I loved it so much, we promptly went out and bought all the supplies to be able to continue block printing. It was easy, fun, and the beer was extra tasty. I highly recommend!

Ashley's class was a very good experience. She had us all come up to the desk, and demonstrated how to cut the linoleum block. She also gave us websites to check out to buy our products. I needed a little extra help, and she made me feel like my questions were good, and she was very patient. She even took pictures of our finished work. I would highly recommend her class!

Ashley, the teacher, was very organized and it was easy to follow the directions. The two hour class was enough time to carve a block and start printing. Some students printed on t-shirts or scarf, I printed on a pillowcase and really liked the results. This class is good for very beginners as well as experienced printers as printing on fabric is just a little different than paper, but well worth the effort!

I took the same class twice because I enjoyed it so much. She is a great instructor and I highly recommend it.

This was a great class. The small class size ensured that each person got the help they needed. It is a very hands on class and you will leave with knowledge and a product.

This was such a fun class! It was intimate so we were able to receive a lot of help from Ashley, who was incredible! She walked us through carving a few block prints of our choosing and then we put them to use on our own holiday wrapping paper. I love the paper I created and can't wait to use it this holiday season! Thanks for the great class, Ashley!

Great class---I remembered (trying) to carve linoleum blocks back in school, to massively lukewarm results and was thus apprehensive about whether this class would be any fun. We used rubber, which was super easy to work with even to carve curves! Very forgiving, great entry-level material. Highly suggest giving a bit of thought before you go to class to what design you might like to make -- do some web searches for black and white images that aren't too complex, and take them with you. Ashley can help you pick which one is a good bet for your first block, and off you go! Folks in our class did a leaf, a cactus, a bike chainring, and a mountain.....

Fun class in a laid back setting. Small group but I like it better that way. Really fun to test out this form of art!

The embroidery class at La sandia that I found on dabble was great! The location was good and provided enough space. The supplies were very well organized and described in detail. The pacing of the class was perfect, the instructor really understands how to teach and also her craft. I highly recommend this class. Dabble is a great was to learn new things.

I loved Ashley's class! I learned a ton and had a good deal of one-on-one time. Ashley was super enthusiastic about my design and had great advice. I actually bought all of the supplies to make my own at home and I couldn't be more excited to create pillows, tea towels, wrapping paper, art, etc for gifts and around the home.

Great class. Ashley did a nice job of explaining the process. She made great suggestions as I was working on the project. It was a fun experience. I love my new scarf!

I had a really enjoyable evening learning how to block print on fabric. Ashley was a wonderful instructor and gave us very individual attention and celebrated our successes with us. I would like to take more classes with her, and perhaps do more fabric printing as well.

My first block printing experience was great! Ashley stated things simply and was very knowledgable. I loved that we got to keep our own blocks for future use. Perhaps it would be helpful to have more examples of what the print would look like depending on what kind of material it was printed on.

Ashley was friendly and kept her instruction quick and to the point, so as to give us plenty of time to work (carving takes a lot longer than I originally though!). I appreciated her moving the class along base on her expertise ("5 more minutes to transfer sketch", "10 more minutes on the etching") so as to ensure we had enough time to complete all the steps. Fun atmosphere, good class size (5 students). Would gladly take another class with her. :)

Ashley is a pro, and yet she's able to conduct a very casual, relaxed class. I learned a lot about block printing without feeling like I was in a classroom, and the materials we used were high-quality and generous. I absolutely recommend taking this class!!
