Henry Africano is a Mechanical Engineering Consultant working in the 3D design and prototyping community in Chicago. He also works as an instructor and adviser at Catalyze Chicago. Henry teaches members how to best use emerging technologies to their advantage. He is an obsessive tinkerer with a focus on how things work. Henry has enjoyed working in the automotive field. He has prototyped open-wheel race-car components, industrial controls, and programmed 5000+hp electric motors for the recycling industry. Henry believes in the effectiveness of group collaboration and hands on learning environments. In his personal life, he enjoys time with his hound named Clark, anything with an engine, and big laughs.
