Have you ever wanted to create your own illustrations and logos or add a little color and graphics to your presentations and projects?
Adobe Illustrator is the most powerful, industry-standard vector graphics software used by the leading companies and professionals. This class will provide you the knowledge and tools needed to get started using this exhaustive program.

Students will become familiar with the toolbar, workspace, using the shape and brush tools, applying color, working with typography, proper file management, saving a file for output, and much more. The class will culminate on a step-by-step instruction leading students through the creation of an original illustration from a collection of sketches (personal sketch or assortment of instructor’s sketches) using the tools introduced throughout the class.

Pre-requisites: This is an introductory course designed for first time and beginning Illustrator users. No prior experience with Illustrator is required for this class. Bringing of scanned, personal sketches encouraged, but not required. You will need to have Adobe Illustrator version CS4 or higher already downloaded for the start of class.
