Event Overview

Learn to talk about contemporary art the way you talk about your favorite movies, music, and sports—with confidence and infectious passion. Use your new tools to spice up your next gallery visit or cocktail party. Who knows, it may even help you pick up those cute artsy types you’ve pined for from afar.

Participants will learn the basics of how to analyze and talk about art without any needed prior art knowledge or training. Discussion will range from formal to conceptual elements, balanced with levity and humor. We will meet at La Colombe coffee shop and migrate to a gallery in the West Loop's burgeoning cultural district.
