Event Overview
Looking for an economical way to gift personalized, consumable, healthy, and conscious gifts for the holiday? Want to spread the joy of health and wellness to those you love?
Join Andrea of Edible Alchemy & learn to make your own body care products. You can make perfect personalized products in a jiffy for those you love…. or just for yourself.
This class will be fully hands-on, focusing on a few basic recipes that can be easily replicated for friends and family. We’ll try out everything we make in class. You’ll leave with samples of each and detailed recipes on how to make your favorites en masse at home! We’ll focus on using ingredients that are mostly available at stores here in Chicago, and can help point you to the perfect places to pick up what you need to make these great gifts. Some bulk ingredients will be available for students to purchase afterwards.
You’ll learn to make:
Cinnamon Coffee Sugar Scrub
Scented-as-you-Wish Body Butter
Lavender Herb Deodorant
Herbal Bath & Closet Sachets
And have a great time doing it!! BYOB encouraged.
What to Bring

Andrea is full of amazing natural health care knowledge. The beginning of the class was an introduction of the products, what they do for the skin, and how you can use each product. All of us were able to concoct our own essential oil aroma for each product that we made. The group was engaging and we all left with deodorant, three sachets, coffee sugar scrub, and a salve...along with recipes to make at home! I will be back for sure...very positive experience!
