A female-friendly, high-intensity 30 minute boxing workout that burns fat and builds muscle! Learn how to punch with proper form, do boxing drills and finish with a healthier, fitter, you! This is a small group class setting where individualism and individualized attention are encouraged and are the norm. Kick butt and sting like a bee...Ding Ding! Boys welcome!
Each class ends with some practical, self-defense skills.
Taught by black belt Rachel Lavin.

Boxing gloves, fitness equipment, towels and water provided
Rachel is a bad-a**! She received her Yondan (4th Dan) from Hideteka Nishiyama in 2001. In addition to Karate, she has a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and a Guro in Eskrima. Her competitive experience in karate includes being an international gold medalist in the 1994 Pan American Games (Fukugo division) and in 2006 winning gold medal in the VII Olympic Gay Games in kata. She is also a national gold medalist in Judo winning first place in the 2008 USA National Judo championships. Along with her physical practice of the sport of karate, she is also a performance psychologist.

It was an intense class but fun. I went with a friend and made a new friend. The teacher Rachel was very friendly and knew what she was doing. I would love to go again but it's only on Thursdays and another day would work better for me.

Been at this for about 4 months and feel myself getting stronger! Learned another helpful self defense move at the end of the class. Can never be too safe!

Another great week at boxing!! Phenomenal workout. Spent a bit more working on self defense moves, which was awesome!

This class is amazing! A fun, tough workout that leaves you feeling great. Wish it was more than once a week! I've been looking for a boxing class for awhile and this one checks all the boxes. Highly recommend!!
