Have you ever been working on something and had the sudden urge to pick up your Mac and throw it into Lake Michigan? Do you want technology to make your life easier and more productive instead of making you cry in your sleep?
If you are a small business owner or are considering starting your own business, this is the class for you! You don't have to be a computer whiz to take this class. We will discuss organization techniques, productivity tools (most of which are already on your Mac!), and tips on how to best protect all important info you have!
Bring your Mac, preferably with the newest operating system (10.8 Mountain Lion), and a notebook or iPad for notes :) There will be plenty of time for Q&A and hopefully a 201 class later for more advanced learning. Also, be thirsty for a drink with the rest of us :)

Here she spends most of her days teaching people how to use their Macs and get the most of their technology. As the Director of Communications at the MacTutor she has become proficient at the ins and outs of how to run a business on a Mac. In addition to her work at the MacTutor, Meg also runs her own small photo business. Her latest project: The Chicago Fire Department's Fireman's Calendar!!!
