Event Overview

Let's Ink! Modern Calligraphy Workshop is a beginner's class hosted by Candace Carson, Chicago based Lettering Artist & Calligrapher. Whether you're looking to learn as a hobby, to create special pieces for your upcoming wedding, or just to have a fun night out with friends, the workshop will teach you all the basics and provide you with all the materials you need.

In this workshop, you'll learn: how to prep your pen, proper stroke techniques, letter formation, and letter connections to make words, using custom Let's Ink! practice worksheets. And we'll do all of this while sipping on some drinks and listening to some jams! We'll finish up by creating a composition using everything you've learned. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have all you need to continue practicing on your own.

So come out, bring a friend, have a couple drinks and Let’s Ink!
