Event Overview

Codeverse is opening up spots for a summer camp for tech-loving children going into grades 1-8! During a weeklong summer camp session at Codeverse Lincoln Park studio, each and every student is given use of one of our iPads. On the first day of camp, kids will use the iPad to complete a series of coding lessons that will walk them through the basics of coding- no experience necessary! These iPads also give students the opportunity to experience other gadgets and technology in the interactive, kid-friendly studio.

Codeverse's tech experts have crafted up their own coding language, KidScript, made specifically with young learners in mind. It's an approachable language that uses easy to read, easy to write coding lines. KidScript is a real programming language that takes inspiration from the languages that professionals use: JavaScript, Python, Ruby, and more. Kids even use keyboards to get the full coding experience! KidScript gives students all the tools they need to learn programming basics in our immersive and creative platform.

The Codeverse studio is a wonderland of technology. Every part of the 3,600 sq. ft. space is made for kids to play with, interact with, and learn with. We encourage all kids to be creative, curious, and collaborative as they interact with our state-of-the-art tech: 3D printers, robot arms, drones, and much more!
