Event Overview
We have greatly improved this class so that you will take home three organic, eco-friendly, lotion candles that you create from our large selection of organic ingredients. They even double as lotion or massage oil!.
In this class, we’ll cover the ins and outs of candle making, from wicks to scents to wax. Plus, you’ll learn how to perfect your candles by selecting the correct carrier oils and essential oils. And if you’re concerned about conventional candles, we’ll chat about the dangers those present as well as why the green/organic movement is gaining momentum day by day.
By the end of the class, you will have created three personalized candles from our large selection of organic ingredients. You’ll not only have acquired a new skill and maybe a few new friends, but you’ll feel good about the quality and safety of your aromatic artistry.
Class size is limited. A small class size coupled with our interactive, hands-on teaching method ensures each student will receive individualized instruction and absorb more of the learning material. We will provide all the materials.
For those over 21, BYOB is welcomed.

The class was fun, our instructor was lively and a bit quirky. The candles were a disappointment though, they were crumbly and did not work as body lotion, and they weren't very strongly scented either. We also were never emailed the instructions and recipes we were promised.

I hate to do this, as I really enjoyed the class, but I have to edit my review. While the class was tons of fun, I discovered after the fact that the candles themselves were a huge disappointment. They have almost no scent to them, and only burned for about an hour. They are nothing like advertised. Also, we never received the followup email we were told to expect. I wouldn't recommend this class without some significant adjustments to the actual candle-making process.
