Event Overview

This will be an ongoing event as we follow the construction of an actual new home from start to finish. This will be a hands-on event, meeting biweekly at the job site.

In this event we will learn all the fun stuff that goes into a project before we break ground!

The existing home has been reduced to four walls and exposed ceiling joists. The garage has been demolished. We will get an up close and personal look at the very beginning stages of construction.

We will meet for coffee for about an hour to discuss what goes into the planning, review blueprints with the architect and get on board for this exciting process. Then we will walk to the job site where we will see, touch and discuss what remains of this home! Feel free to take notes and pictures.

Coffee, soda, savory breakfast and sweet treats are included in the $20 fee.

PLEASE READ
We will be going to a construction site, it WILL be dirty, muddy and cold. Please wear sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothes, thanks! Also, there will be future site visits and events in a series format so stay tuned!
