Victoria Vastalo is a native Chicagoan who is passionate about helping small business owners succeed. Ms. Vastalo provides customized accounting solutions to ensure successful cash flow and efficient expense management, so business owners can make insightful decisions about their operations, and maximize their profits. She approaches each relationship as a unique opportunity to educate and empower her clients. Her portfolio includes retailers, service companies, artists and freelancers. She holds a degree in Business Management from North Central College, and has been a QuickBooks Certified Advisor since 2010.
Partnering with a family-owned business right after college, Victoria enjoyed the independence of self-employment, but also experienced financial and operational challenges that she wasn’t prepared for. This early experience strongly influenced her desire to help other business owners avoid costly mistakes to starting and managing the finances of a business. Later,she worked in various financial management positions at both large corporations and small independent companies, gaining valuable insights and experience before deciding to open her own consulting enterprise in 2004.
In addition to her consulting work, Ms. Vastalo volunteers her services with several Small Business Development Centers in Chicago, and has facilitated workshops on entrepreneurship, business taxes, bookkeeping, accounting software and money management. She is also adjunct faculty of St. Augustine College in Chicago.
