This class will benefit aspiring brick-and-mortars, mom-and-pops, store-fronts and other retail, service and food entrepreneurs. Sorry, not for you mobile/web app and gamers and other new product developments. We’ll see ya next time! I’m here for you shopkeepers, chefs/cooks, beauticians, retailers and other servicers!

An experienced entrepreneur, Lester Palmiano began his career at age 18 from clerk to commodities manager. Since then he has owned two small businesses - a Lakeview tea lounge, and a North side dog day care service. In addition to owning these businesses, he was responsible for building them from the ground up, creating business plans and strategies, managing them, and aiding in their transition to new owners. Discovering his passion for teaching from his popular tea tastings and classes at the tea lounge, coupled with over 10 years of business knowledge, he recently created the consulting firm: akala Business Consulting.
Lester is currently Business Manager for local not-for-profit, Peterson Garden Project and also serves on the board. Surrounded by a great leadership team and an extraordinary leader/founder, LaManda Joy their mission to “educate and inspire” people to grow their own food, has catapulted the organization throughout the city and has rippled throughout nationally within just several years of being founded.
