Event Overview
Did you know that all the apples you eat are clones from a long-gone tree?
You can try your hand at the exciting and ancient art of grafting to make a fruit tree in this workshop. Participants will choose between 3 apple varieties for their take home tree and will graft to the most dwarfing root stock to create a tree that will not grow taller than 6 feet and is suitable for growing in a large pot if it can get some winter protection. The apple trees created in this class will produce fruit in 3-5 years.
Class fee includes materials to make one tree. All supplies will be provided, so just show up ready to learn a new skill that will definitely impress your friends and family!
