Event Overview
Slow Food envisions a world in which all people can eat food that is good for them, good for the people who grow it, and good for the planet. Join us at the second preSERVE garden day of the year. If the first garden day in April was any indication, it's going to be a very exciting season.
See you in the garden! Slow Food Chicago is a member-supported educational non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and network of volunteers who help with operations and events. Slow Food Chicago is one of the largest chapters of Slow Food USA with more than 500 members and 5,000 supporters.
Through our events and programs, we advocate for renewed interest in and support for our local food culture Promote biodiverse and sustainable producers and purveyors in our community, and bring people together through the common language of food.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
At Dabble, we're committed to empowering kids to see our city as both their playground and classroom, but we know that volunteering as a family can be challenging. That’s why we've teamed up with our amazing partners to offer a range of meaningful activities that positively impact communities across Chicago. Most of our partner organizations offer Service Learning credits, so be sure to inquire.
