Come get your dose of animal therapy in a sun-filled studio in one of Chicago's most vibrant neighborhoods. This 75-minute workshop is about moving, stretching, and being aware of your own body, while baby goats frolic and perch on you!
We will talk about goat mythology and symbolism, connecting to the natural world hidden in plain sight, and touch on animal therapy as a medical intervention. This is a small group class with a high goat-to-human-ratio, so expect a lot of contact time. Please note, this event is INDOORS so it's happening rain or shine!

I have been teaching yoga and working with animals for the past 13 years, and am continually exploring their overlap. I have spent the past decade studying agriculture, apprenticing with animal trainers, and working as a consultant for local nonprofits. I have always dreamed of rewilding myself and my environs by bringing more plants and animals to the city. For the past 6 years, I have been bioremediating the lots next to my home, resulting in an urban-farm-dreamscape. The animals here are a delight to local children and have become neighborhood mascots. As my day job, I own and operate a holistic health clinic in Pilsen that provides acupuncture and musculoskeletal therapy.
