Osceola Thomas is an organizational consultant and senior grant writer with more than eighteen years experience training and developing, juvenile justice initiatives, dropout prevention programs, and out of school time models. He offers a wealth of expertise in creating interagency collaborative and leveraging community resources. He has served as a conference speaker and workshop presenter on national and international platforms for several county and state agencies. Osceola is an accomplished program designer and community organizer. He has worked collaboratively with Juvenile Justice Commissions to address disproportionate minority contact and the deinstitutionalization of status offenders for youth involved with the juvenile justice system and has partnered with Superintendents Roundtables to reduce long-term suspensions, expulsions, and
dropouts. He holds a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership and specializes in the formation of 501(c) (3) nonprofit organizations, building a shared vision, and sustainability planning. He has formerly served in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director, Organizational Consultant, and Grant Developer, garnering millions of county, state, and federal grant dollars for Private and Government Agencies.
He has been featured on numerous media outlets and honored as a Champion in the Child Service Industry. Osceola is currently the President of Osceola Thomas & Associates, a comprehensive consulting firm, and works with organizations whose mission is to empower the disenfranchised.
