Event Overview

Students who might not be English confident, feel free to bring 1 bilingual friend for free BUT YOU MUST MESSAGE US so we know to have enough space and supplies - Thank you!

Your instructor, Dong Chen, certified in Chinese Herbology from Shanghai, China (her birthplace and hometown), will be leading a fun, interactive, and education filled class based on her personal experiences of navigating her health and that of her family.

This class like her Qigong exercise class (https://dabble.co/rc/learnmore,livemore,llc248) will also teach the philosophy behind how Qi, the vital energy of life, works and why it is not about treating particular symptoms but about balancing the whole person in Chinese thinking.

Students will be making their own teas as well as engaging in stimulating conversations guided by Dong.

Accompanying, your teas class, will also be a mini-lesson on pressure points and how simply pressing on certain areas can help with common ailments.

We do not provide refunds, but we do work to tailor our classes to our students' schedules. For more information on our policies, visit: https://www.seedscenter.org/terms-and-conditions/

I am Dong, your qi gong and herbal, medicinal teas instructor, native born from China. Ever since my pre-teen days, I have been studying traditional Chinese herbology. Later in life, I learned qi gong, acupressure, and acupuncture as an adult.

To me, Chinese medicine is an art. I learned that during my sick childhood, suffering from severe asthma which had prevented me from attending elementary school. During my quest to find relief from asthma, I learned the value of Chinese medicinal philosophy and the ancient knowledge it carries.

I want to share my experience and knowledge with everyone just as my father did as a Qi Gong Grand Master. We both found our cures for our ailments through the practice of traditional Chinese medicinal philosophy and arts. Thank you all for reading.

Fantastic class! My friend and I were the only two there on this unseasonably cold Spring day so we got Diana’s full attention. She was super sweet and informative. We tried lots of herbal tea combinations and then decided to go to the Asian grocery store down the road afterwards to buy the ingredients and make a few of our favorites at home.
