MASHALLAH is the manifestation of my creative intuition and aesthetic integrity. The formative and receptive years of my conscious and artistic development were inspired by my aunt, Ikram Goldamn, global fashion icon, who heavily influenced my organic inclination to create and define fashion. I was also privileged enough to work for my uncle, Sahir Suman, brilliant artist and owner of the Marji Gallery in New Mexico. These experiences – along with my own colorful and innovative tendencies and diligence- have developed, defined, and informed the spirit of MASHALLAH.
MASHALLAH is the thorough culmination of my artistic endeavors and the professional wisdom vetted from years of styling Chicago’s most influential people. These experiences have afforded me a stylized and vibrant interpretation of individual style. I draw inspiration from the specialized urban-style and art in all its medium to inform the creative process that goes into producing wearable, gender neutral, environmentally conscious, and visually stunning accessories. Accessories that maintain a captivating and timeless quality that are to be worn day or night, in jeans or a gown, young or mature, stacked or layered, paired or alone to create your own sophisticated look or bohemian edge.
