How to Get Your Dream Job
39 Have Dabbled
Business & Technology
Do you know what your dream job is? Great! That's the first step.
So now what? In this class we will go over how to market yourself and rise above all the other candidates to land the job of your dreams. It doesn't matter what field it is because there are certain things that EVERY employer is looking for in a future hire. Really it's about standing out. This class' perspective is outside of conventional wisdom, this isn't your mom's career services advice!
Dabblers will learn best practices, adding personality to your resume (you need to pass the "Would I want to have a beer with you" test after all), what makes a good and bad "cover" email (often their first impression of you) and the best channel to make a connection.
